City Scape

As I mention in the other page, we have great sceneries of nature, mountains and ocean, and yet, we also have a great cityscape

Observation Deck(prefectural office)
Shizuoka Prefectural Hall

There’s an observation deck on the 21st floor of Shizuoka prefectural office building. Actually this building also has office of Shizuoka prefectural police department. But just go inside, and take the elevator that goes to the 21st floor.

It provides a panoramic view  of the city.

On the south, you’ll see Pacific Ocean at far end of the city.On the North, you’ll see the residential area and green mountains. On the West, historical building of the city hall and down town area. Then on the East, the moats around Sunpu castle, vast residential area, and far behind that, you’ll see beautiful Mt.Fuji!!(if you’re lucky) It’s totally free. Go up and view all over the city! Oh, and free wi-fi is available up there!
